There are two types of fixes for siding damage: a complete siding replacement and installation or a targeted siding repair. However, the difference between one and another is, a siding replacement entails completing replacing all four walls around the outside of the house whereas a targeted repair isolates the damaged area. Similarly, a targeted repair isolates only the damaged area, finds the root cause, repairs the damage, and installs the new materials. In other words, a complete replacement makes perfect sense only some of the time, but in the majority of residential cases, a repair is all that’s necessary, so why pay extra if you don’t need to? In addition, we will provide an honest assessment of your siding’s condition and recommend the most reasonable course of action for you.
Our process starts with a comprehensive walk-through and some discovery work; if there are dry rot or paint issues, we can address those along the way. Above all, we want you to be happy with your siding repair or replacement, and that starts with you having the best information possible before any decisions are made! Once a course of action has been decided, we will schedule a job date that is convenient for you. After that, we will coordinate the entire siding process, including demo, dry rot inspection, installation of the weather-resistant barrier, and exterior finishes.
